GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A burglary call leads Garland County authorities on a high speed chase.
Lt. David Wolf with the Garland County Sheriff's Office says they got a burglary call Wednesday morning in the north end of the county. He says no one was home and no one was injured, but the suspects had kicked in the door and ransacked the home.
Wolf says some homeowners say the suspects' car leaving the scene and one resident followed for awhile until police got there. When police started following them, a chase started.
Wolf says the chase ended near Desoto Park on Park Avenue, and two men ditched the car and ran off. A K9 unit was brought in to track the suspects but was unsuccessful.
The vehicle was impounded and investigators will see if they can connect it to anything. The home is still being processed.
