Hot Springs, AR— Hiking in Hot Springs National Park can be a fun and rewarding experience. It is a great way to both see and experience the park. Come and take a hike with a park ranger and learn about this unique place that we call Hot Springs National Park. Meet the park ranger at the Gulpha Gorge Campground’s Amphitheater. This will be 1.5 mile hike (round trip).The Gulpha Gorge Trail winds up the mountain to meet Hot Springs Mountain Trail and Goat Rock Trail. Wear sturdy shoes; bring water to drink; and a flashlight.
Gulpha Gorge Campground is located on U.S. Hwy 7-S, a short distance off U.S. Hwy 70 East on the eastern edge of Hot Springs. The amphitheater is located at the north end of the campground. All programs are free and weather-permitting. For more information, call 501-620-6715.
