MASM keeps on truckin'

MASM keeps on truckin'

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Mid-America Science Museum is gearing up for the third annual Keep on Truckin' event, Saturday, March 17. Children of all ages are invited to rub elbows with their hometown heroes while exploring cool trucks in the Hot Springs area.

This year’s event features fire rescue equipment, construction equipment, a miniature size milk truck and much more. From 10am-2pm children of all ages are encouraged to explore, honk and sound the sirens on a variety of big wheels.

Tickets are $5 at the door and include lunch from Papa John’s Pizza; plus the first 100 children receive a free t-shirt. All participants will also receive discounted admission into the Museum (Saturday, March 17th only) to view the Museum’s 2012 exhibit Odyssey’s SHIPWRECK! Pirates and Treasure. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Museum’s future exhibits and programming.

Oaklawn announces biggest lineup to date

 

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Finish Line Concert Series at Oaklawn is back with the strongest lineup of entertainment in the four-year history of the program. Some of the most recognizable names in music will be at Oaklawn this summer including Diamond Rio, Lonestar and The Oak Ridge Boys.

 

“When we built the Finish Line Theater four years ago, we never could have imagined that we’d be hosting acts like the Oak Ridge Boys and Lonestar,” said Matt Clement, Oaklawn’s Director of Entertainment. “This is really exciting for us and all of our fans. These concerts are just another great reason why Oaklawn is Arkansas’ favorite place to play.”
