Mercy offers help for grieving parents | Families
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Grieving the loss of a child is emotionally, spiritually and physically traumatic and many parents feel a need for a safe, supportive environment for dealing with their grief. St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center is organizing a support group for parents who have lost a child through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.
This organizational meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on March 15 in the Daffodil Room of the Mercy Cancer Center in Hot Springs. The purpose of this gathering is to generate ideas about topics for presentation and discussion and to determine the best time to meet monthly.
Sister Liz Koehler, Bereavement Coordinator at St. Joseph’s Mercy, will facilitate this process. Call Sister Liz at (501) 622-4113 for information.
