HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – St. Joseph’s Mercy Health System welcomes Dr. Ken Wright to Mercy Clinic. Wright, a family practice physician, began seeing patients this week at 101 McGowan Court, near St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs.
“It’s a good healthcare system. It’s large enough that it has a large variety of specialists and yet they want to do very individualized, personal healthcare treatment,” Wright said. “It’s a great opportunity for me.”
Wright earned his medical degree from SABA University School of Medicine and did his residency in Texarkana. He was also a member of the Air Force, traveling to Iraq in 2004 and the Middle East in 2006. He comes to St. Joseph’s mercy after working in Ruston, La.
“I spent several years in the Air Force and have been able to travel overseas. I spent a lot of time down in Texas, South Dakota, Georgia and Louisiana,” Wright said.
