MMA continues to grow in the state | News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Jessica Duff sits down with Nathan Kirby, owner and promoter for Kingdom Promotions MMA, to talk about the upcoming "KP3" fight in Little Rock.

Mixed martial arts continues to grow in popularity across the U.S.  Here in Arkansas there are plenty of gyms that offer training in this fast growing sport.

Some of the state's best amateurs and professionals will face off this weekend. There will also be plenty of fighters from around the region coming to compete against Arkansas fighters.

Kingdom Promotions 3 will be held at the Clear Channel Metroplex Event Center on Saturday, August 25. Doors open at 6 p.m.

There will be three preliminary fights starting at 6:30 p.m. The main event kicks off at 7 p.m. with the Little Rock Air Force Base honor guard and national anthem. The main card fights will start at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance. They will be available at the door for $30.
