HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Police have arrested a man accused of beating a Hot Springs man to death Tuesday.
When Hot Springs police responded to a 911 call on Carson Street, they say Robert Brindley, 52, was laying face-down in a pool of blood.
Police say the suspect, Ray Allen Brown, 52, tells them that he and Brindley were arguing when he struck him in the back of the head with his prosthetic arm, knocking him to the ground. Brown also tells police that he slammed a large rock down onto Brindley after he was already on the ground.
According to police, Brindley was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. Brown is being held in the Garland County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. He is facing a second degree murder charge.
