GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A traffic stop on fictitious tags leads to the arrest of three people, while another person fled the scene.
Authorities say Patricia Green, 40, Richard Clift, 42, and Shannon Chewning, 27, were all taken into custody early Tuesday and charged with a felony count of possession of drug paraphernalia. This is punishable by up to six years in prison.
In addition, the Garland County Sheriff's Department says Green was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamines) with intent to deliver, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Authorities say he was still being held Wednesday in lieu of a $7,000 bond while the others were each released on a $2,500 bond.
All three suspects are set to appear in court July 24.
