GARLAND CO., Ark. (KTHV) - Authorities will start searching again for a teen who may have drowned in Lake Catherine Monday night.
The Garland County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old James King was trying to swim from area of the lake to the other, but the started having trouble staying afloat. He then went underwater and didn't resurface.
Tuesday, the sheriff's office used a tactical team and certified divers to search the lake. Wednesday they started around 7:30 a.m. by running a side scan sonar.
The department says they didn't pick up anything promising and will suspend the efforts for the day and start again first thing Thursday morning.
