Hwy. 290 work requires lane closures | Transportation
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Crews performing surface repairs on Highway 290 south of Lake Hamilton, in Garland County, will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The improvements will require an alternating lane closure in the east and westbound lanes beginning Monday, September 26 and continuing through Wednesday, September 28. The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day, weather permitting. Flaggers will route traffic through the work zone.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
